Revit wall from roof to roof.

Select the wall type and constraints for a dormer that will be added to a roof. Click architecture tab roof drop down roof by footprint. You can join roofs to other roofs or walls or unjoin them if they were previously joined. Open the 02 lower parapet floor plan.

My problem ist that when i make a section the outer wall goes into the roof. The wall must be attached to the target roof and the target roof must be a footprint roof. You cannot join a roof to more than one top face of another roof. But i want it to end at the roof where i painted the red line.

The other element can be a floor a roof a ceiling a reference plane or another wall that is directly above or below. You can join a roof to the top face of another roof and the wall below that roof if you select the wall as the target.
